Refrigeration Systems

Temperature:
Your system must be large enough to adequately refrigerate the space to the desired temperature, regardless of conditions. We design our systems to hold a temperature range beginning at 38 degrees. Our experience in the industry supports this set-point. Some important things to discuss with your salesman may be:

1) Do you wish to hold a colder set-point in your cooler?
2) Are there harsh conditions to deal with?
3) Will doors be left open for extended periods?

Humidity:
Cut Flowers love high humidity! It helps them to stay hydrated, and promotes long product life. Our oversized Surround-Air evaporator coils operate at temperatures closer to your coolers set-point, therefore drawing less moisture from the air then our competitors. It’s all in the design and engineering!

Air Flow:
Economy systems move lots of air across small inexpensive coils. This creates an environment which is uncomfortable for you and your delicate flowers. Because SRC Surround Air coils are much larger in size, air exits up to 62% less "face velocity" than standard coils.
